Ayurveda For Motherhood
Pregnancy yoga gives you a chance to replenish and connect with yourself and your baby. We will use meditation, yoga postures and breathing exercises to bring conscious awareness to the rhythmic changes at work in the physical body, building strength and endurance to prepare for childbirth while you also connect with yourself emotionally, acknowledging the transformation that is taking place. Pregnancy yoga is not about giving you a blueprint to give birth the ‘yoga way’ it’s about giving you the capacity to trust that your breath and your body will enable you to meet with an open heart whatever birth experiences you encounter.
Whether it’s your first or fifth baby, caring for your little one(s) is a demanding job. The transition into motherhood can be intense but I’m here for you, I believe in you, and I support you.
Postpartum yoga can help you reconnect with your body and calm your mind in those early months with a new baby. This program uses yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation to help rebuild core strength and pelvic floor muscles, relieve back and neck pain from long nursing sessions and carrying baby around, as well as helping you find relaxation and space to heal.

Preparing For The Fourth Trimester
When we are pregnant we spend so much time thinking about and preparing for the birth of our baby as if birth were the finish line, but what happens after your baby arrives?
When a baby is born so is a mother and sometimes the birth of a mother can be even more intense than childbirth. While there’s a good chance you have been preparing for your baby’s birth you may not be preparing yourself for the changes that you will be experiencing when the birth is over.
The postpartum period, also known as the fourth trimester, will be a time filled with love, little sleep, feeding challenges, shifts in identity, bonding, extreme emotions, hormone changes and a body that is healing.
If you know more about what to expect postpartum you are in a more empowered position going into it.
Just as having a birth plan helps you to prepare for the birth, a postpartum plan helps you to prepare for the time after.
This workshop will give you all the tools that you need to create your postpartum plan, setting yourself up for the smoothest fourth trimester possible.
